LSTN was founded with a singular purpose: to change lives through the power of music. Our goal is to connect people through sound. Proceeds from sales of all LSTN products go towards giving hearing aids to people in need worldwide through our charity partner, Starkey Hearing Foundation. Hearing improves the lives of individuals, families and communities around the world.
Over the past 4 years, we've cried with families in Mexico as they witnessed their daughter hear for the first time – something they never thought possible. We’ve had a dance-off to Thriller with a teenager in Sri Lanka who could suddenly reconnect with his peers and the world around him. We've been humbled by the impact of seeing a 110 year old man in China as he suddenly became full of personality after not having sound in his life for 50+ years. Those are just 3 stories of the 25,000 lives we've been able to change because of our customers.
None of this would be possible for our team without a company that flies to hundreds of locations across the globe. This is why we are proud to share that LSTN is the new in-flight headphone partner for one of the largest airlines in the world, Delta Air Lines. Beginning this summer, customers traveling in Delta One, including transcontinental flights between JFK and LAX/SFO, DCA-LAX and BOS-SFO, and later this year, Delta Premium Select, will enjoy a pair of LSTN headphones while in flight. Developed specifically for the in-flight experience, the noise-canceling headphones will enable customers to better experience Delta Studio, the airline’s industry-leading, free in-flight entertainment system, at 30,000 feet. Best of all 100% of the proceeds from our partnership will benefit Starkey Hearing Foundation to help thousands of people worldwide hear for the first time.
Our partnership with LSTN directly aligns with Delta’s commitment to give back to local communities, while making thoughtful enhancements to the on-board experience for our customers,”
Tim Mapes, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Delta Air Lines.
Team LSTN recently returned from Peru where we partnered with Delta Air Lines and Starkey Hearing Foundation to help over 1,000 people receive devices to enable their hearing.
One patient who made an incredible impact on us was Marisela, a 6-year-old from Arequipa. Her specific type of hearing loss required a bone-conducting aid, and after she received the gift of hearing she clenched onto our Satellite speaker and held it up to her face, amazed by the sound she was hearing for the very first time. Anytime someone tried to take the speaker back, Marisela pulled away. She wasn't ready to let go of the music.

Seeing how Marisela's eyes lit up when she first heard music reminded us of why we do what we do

The mission was fully documented and the footage is currently being crafted into an in-flight video, which will be visible on all IFE-equipped Delta flights globally this summer.
