Dear LSTN supporters,
We wanted to give you a huge thank you for making 2013 the best year ever. Since our official launch in April, there have been so many highlights!
We hired our first employees (Zoya and Tyler) and rockstar interns (Lauren and Max). We moved into a real office (out from our apartments!) We saw our dreams come true when we visited Peru with Starkey Hearing Foundation and helped 10,000 people hear for the first time.
We got to collaborate with other brands that we LOVE and admire - like TOMS, Movember, Creative Recreation and Spotify.
LSTN products were sold in AMAZING retailers like Whole Foods, Nordstrom and Urban Outfitters. We aligned ourselves with the coolest subscription services, Quarterly and Birchbox, and sold on online outlets that we personally loved - like Grand St, JackThreads and Huckberry.
The team got to read about our little startup in major press outlets like New York Times, GQ, Playboy, Gizmodo, Inc Magazine, Pitchfork and Huffington Post.
The team hit the road for most of the year and met customers at all the major fashion and electronics trade shows including CES, Agenda, and Liberty Fairs, in the meantime hitting New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Seattle, Louisville, Nashville, Ft. Lauderdale, Austin, Minneapolis, Detroit, London, Lima, Chiclayo, Piura and more.
We started seeing celebrities and athletes wear our products around town and on TV - thank you Demi Lovato, Lorde, Tony Hawk, Steve Smith, Manny Pacquiao, Vampire Weekend, AFI, Ashley Cole, Wayne Rooney, Linkin Park, AWOLNATION, Fitz + the Tantrums, Cage the Elephant, Portugal the Man, Sergio Ramos and more!!
We launched in our first international market, the United Kingdom, and started the groundwork on many more international offices (to be announced very soon!)
This is all because of you, our incredible supporters! 2014 is going to bring more giving trips (domestic and international), exciting retailers, a college rep program, artist collaborations, and worldwide expansion!
