LSTN x Broke LA: A Festival For the Rest of Us

We are proud to partner up with BROKE LA festival on April 23, 2016. While tens of thousands will fork up their paychecks and flock to Indio for Coachella, the coolest of the cool will head to Downtown Los Angeles to experience the 6th annual version of this independent music and arts festival.

Check out the video recap from Broke LA 2015

BROKE LA started as an affordable alternative (twenty bucks!) to Coachella, originally operating under the name "Brokechella." Since then, they've rebranded, and gained quite a following - the festival has grown from 200 attendees in its inaugural year to 5,000 last season. (source: smashd.co)

Event-goers will be blessed with 4 stages of music, and there's truly something for everyone; from the uplifting rock of DWNTN to the booty-shaking beats of 2ToneDisco, there is no shortage of local musicians to discover. Prepare to add a few more favorite bands and DJs to your list after this festival.

BROKE LA offers a few things that its corporate counterpart does not, including an entire stage dedicated to stand-up comedy. They've also partnered with animal initiative No Kill Los Angeles to allow attendees to bring their beloved furry friends into the festival. While not enjoying music or comedy, you can browse the diverse offerings of food or shop the many vendors set up on the grounds.

LSTN will be offering products for sale on site. We'll also be curating an activation in the VIP-lounge. Come hang with LSTN staff members and try out those Troubadours you've always wanted!

Tickets are only $25 at the door, or you can buy them here: brokelafest.com

BROKE LA is held on Saturday, April 23 at Imperial Art Studios (695 S Santa Fe Ave).

We hope to see you all there!

BROKE LA is produced by cARTel: Collaborative Arts LA, in association with Brownies & Lemonade, Shifty Rhythms, and Department 4.
